Design
Here are a few samples of my early design work including
storyboards, facilitator guides, infographics, and more.

This slide provides a snapshot of the workshops I designed for a 5-day new hire program. These workshops include two instructional methods: ROPES and KITE. Want to see more of this presentation? Ask me for a sample.

Here is an example of a design strategy from a lesson I created using the KITE method.

Development
Here are a few samples of my early development work including
projects I developed and projects I collaborated on with developers.
Please note that I designed and managed the collaboration projects.

Game Based Learning
The Game of Loan
Learners play this online game to explore various loan products offered in the mortgage industry. This course is designed to allow the learners to make choices while following a pre-determined path to ensure learners get all of the necessary information.
I designed and developed this course in Articulate Presenter and collaborated with a developer to create the animated spin wheel and game board. I recorded and edited the music, sounds, and audio in Audacity. The branching in this course is very intricate and would transition well into Storyline.

This screen shot gives you an idea of the features in this course. There is an interactive map, journal, and energy meter.

Learners also get to choose which question they want Morgan to answer.

#2
Gamification
Examining Title
I designed this two-part immersive online course and collaborated with a developer to create it in Storyline. The difference between this course and The Game of Loan is the gamification aspect. This course includes an energy meter, badges, and ties to a leader board. We created a journal that adds content as the learner completes various sections and a map that doubles as an infographic. Breaks are built into this course for the learner to interact with the facilitator. This is a blended learning experience.
This is one of the most interactive courses I've designed and is a true testament to collaboration. My design was brought to life by a developer who only had a storyboard, my vision, and my words to build from.

From this home page, learners can navigate their way through the system at their own pace.

System Overview
NICE WebStation Overview
The business stakeholder for this project wanted a quick solution for current employees to learn how to navigate through this new system. Learners knew the content but needed to know where to find it. Creating this system tour was a fast and easy solution for the busy call center.
I developed this overview in Storyline and edited the audio in Audacity.

#4
Video
Fish Tank
I designed, scripted, and directed a series of videos based off the TV Show Shark Tank. In these videos, the homeowner pitches their mortgage loan to the investors. These videos accompany a self-employed program where underwriters learn how to calculate income from tax returns.
Collaboration between actors, videographers, audio tech, and editors were the key to success of this program. I could not have brought my vision to life without them.
