"Design is not just what it looks like or feels like, but how it works."

Here are a few samples of my development work including projects I developed and projects I collaborated on with developers.

Game Based Learning
The Game of Loan
Learners play this online game to explore various loan products offered in the mortgage industry. This course is designed to allow the learners to make choices while following a pre-determined path to ensure learners get all of the necessary information.
I designed and developed this course in Articulate Presenter and collaborated with a developer to create the animated spin wheel and game board. I recorded and edited the music, sounds, and audio in Audacity. The branching in this course is very intricate and would transition well into Storyline.

Gamification
Examining Title
I designed this two-part immersive online course and collaborated with a developer to create it in Storyline. The difference between this course and The Game of Loan is the gamification aspect. This course includes an energy meter, badges, and ties to a leader board. We created a journal that adds content as the learner completes various sections and a map that doubles as an infographic. Breaks are built into this course for the learner to interact with the facilitator. This is a blended learning experience.
This is one of the most interactive courses I've designed and is a true testament to collaboration. My design was brought to life by a developer who only had a storyboard, my vision, and my words to build from.

This fun scenario-based ePresentation takes you on the journey of the $100 bill. The gain attention tells you why Ben Franklin is important.

Ben Franklin makes it on the $100 bill; now known as The Benjamin.

See how the Benjamin works as liquid and non-liquid assets.

ePresentation
Asset Essentials - All about the Benjamin
Here is a sample of a scenario based ePresentation I developed. This course was designed for the new hire employee who has no previous work experience in the mortgage industry. This course provides the learner with basic knowledge of assets and prepares them for the workshop. It takes a fun spin on why Ben Franklin made it on the $100 bill and the popularity of "The Benjamin".
This ePresentation was created in Articulate Presenter and incorporates Engage and Quizmaker interactions. The audio was recorded and edited using Audacity. Photos were enhanced using Snag-It and Adobe Photoshop.

System Overview
NICE WebStation Overview
The business stakeholder for this project wanted a quick solution for current employees to learn how to navigate through this new system. Learners knew the content but needed to know where to find it. Creating this system tour was a fast and easy solution for the busy call center.
I developed this overview in Storyline and edited the audio in Audacity.

Video
Fish Tank
I designed, scripted, and directed a series of videos based off the TV Show Shark Tank. In these videos, the homeowner pitches their mortgage loan to the investors. These videos accompany a self-employed program where underwriters learn how to calculate income from tax returns.
Collaboration between actors, videographers, audio tech, and editors were the key to success of this program. I could not have brought my vision to life without them.
